Help! I have what my doctor termed a "lower lumbar sprain". It's a dull ache (sharp pain when pushed too far) in the lower portion of my back to the side of my spine. The pain goes away when i'm running, which is why I tend to believe his diagnosis. However, it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I know exactly when I did it, it was about 16 years ago, I felt it snap as I was help a friend move ( at that time it put me on my back for about a week). Recently the pain has come back, as of about 6 months ago, naproxin helps but only for a while. Any suggestions for long term relief? Thanks in advance!
