Yeah, but only use the kind of detergent that is safe for babies. I think it's called dreft and you can get it at target.

Dont use fabric softener. It can break down the stuff on the garment that makes it flame retardent. That includes dryer sheets

I never washed my daughter's clothes when they were brand new, I never felt the need to. But it's up to you I guess.
