Hey ya'll... Well first, in case you were wondering..I was bleeding yesterday, but it's stopped and the Dr. Said it might have something to do with my bladder but it can wait until tuesday(my appt)

anyways... I was weighed, and i've gained 7/8 pounds in two weeks, I was 97lbs on sept 26, and now im 104/105.. Is that a normal? How much weight are y'all gaining?

Well if your dr didn't seem concerned then maybe its ok. You can gain a lot in the first trimester. Are your face/hands/feet swollen at all??

I'm a "larger lady" Embarassed and have managed to not gain any in 16weeks, which isn't a bad thing as I have plenty of reserves to keep us both going.

Most of the mummies I work with say they ballooned when pregnant, my immediate team leader says she went up to 17 1/2stone (around 245 pounds!) from about 10 1/2-11stone (147-154) and lost all of it again.

If you were underweight, you should gain between 28 and 40 pounds; and if you were overweight, between 15 and 25 pounds. If you're having twins, you should gain about 35 to 45 pounds. If you fall into one of these categories, talk to your healthcare provider about how much you should gain each month.
