Q: Hep B Carrier

I'm curious as to what being a carrier of hep b is? My son and his father r both carriers

They are in a chronic carrier state. They don't manifest symptoms common in acute hepatitis but they are still capable of transmitting the virus. This carrier state is lifetime.
