How Fast Do They Grow...for Bassinets.........

How old on average will a baby be when he/she becomes 30lbs or 34 inches? I am asking because I was thinking about getting this for little jonathan. And the crib part can't be used for babies that are more than 30lbs or 34 inches. And the playpin part can't be used for babies that are more than 15lbs. Do ya'll know of any other crib/bassinets like this one? I really like it, the design I mean, and it is portable so it'll be great for when he goes by daddy. I just wish it could be used longer.

I had a bassinet and loved it so much and I had a playpen too he was in the bassinet up till about 4 to 6 months (all babies are different) my son only weighed 5 pounds 8 oz when born so he was small. And he was in the playpen part till hes was over a year old. I keep him in my room all the time because he was always sick. And he would sleep in my bed too on my stomach because of having colic so bad. So you just hve to use your own jugement if you know someone that has one that you could brower from that would be good.Good luck hun

Hey sweetie-
I think they are a wonderful idea, because a lot of babies can stay in them until they are 5-6 months. Here is one of the best ones I have found-
http://www.Amazon.Com/exec/obidos/tg/detai l/-/b0000busjv/qid=1097374530/br=1-1/ref=b r_lf_ba_1//104-2794631-9865509?V=glance&am p;s=baby&n=542468

when I was pregnant. I went in babiesrus because everything was rated and of coarse I was going to spend money on something that people hated. So here is the site..That has a lot of good playard type things...And they are all rated. Hope it helps!
