I had my tubes tied after my 3rd child was born almost 5 yrs ago. I've been cramping very bad like i'm going to start but I haven't started yet. I wouldn't mind being pregnant b/c I regret getting them tied but when we decided to do it, we had just had our 3rd child and the it was only 10 1/2 months from having our 2nd child. So I think that was the main reason we did it. Fear of getting pregnant so soon again. I was taking the mini pill while breast feeding my 2nd child and still got pregnant. I'm afraid to get a test and take it cause what if i'm not i'd be upset. So, I was just wondering if anyone has had something like this happen to them getting pregnant after tubes been tied and having pains like i'm having?

My freind had her tubes tied and got pregnant 5 times afterwards....4 were miscarried but the last one stayed and is a healthy baby...I dont really knw how it happened but it did. She was complaining about sharp pains at work shortly before she figured out she was pregnant.

It is definately possible to become pregnant after having your tubes tied. I don't know how probable it is, but it's definately possible. How late is your period? Have there been more stressors lately than usual? Have you lost any weight like 5 lbs?

Let me know and we'll go from there.

feeling pains after tubal ligation 4 years ago.

I had a tubal ligation 4 and 1/2 years ago. I know it is possible to get pregnant after having this done. But I have also been having sharp pains in my belly. I think I am going on 2 weeks. I really cant remember my last period. But I cant be more than 2 weeks late. Funny thing is that is when I figured I might be prego for all four pregancies(3 living- 1 not) I was 2 weeks late then. I am wondering now. Ill just wait little longer before I start freaking out cause the chance is very slim since I had my tubal done but I have been getting alot of intercourse so that brings the chance up...guess ill just have to wait and see...God Bless

chances of being pregnant

i am two weeks late 4 my period i had a tubal ligation 2yrs ago after my 4th child my breast are aching and nipples sores i also have sharp pains in my stomach and motion sickness ,headaches peeing alot my lower back hurts it feels like i am i took a pregnancy test a week ago it said negative could it been too soon or could i just b worried?

Well I have'nt had a period since November. I had my tubes tied 6 years ago. I took a HPT i came back neg so I really dont know whats going on I have alot of signs of being pregnant but the test say no......

ok i have read all the answers on getting pregnant, with tubes tied. I too a pregnancy test and it came back negative, so i hope its right. i did not do first morning urine. i have been having bad pains in the adominal areaa. missed februarys period, however no signs of soreness in breast, back pain or anything like that. I must mention i just turned 43 so i have to wonder if i'm starting menapause. and feedback would be great.

well.....i amgoin cray i had my tubestied 8 1/2 mos ago and everything was fine my periods were normaland everythin and now all of a sudden since May 2009 i have not had a period and its july 2, 2009 ......tests say no but i know there are also times durin pregnancy that it can say no.....so does anyone that canhelp? and i already have 2 kids i am 22 yrs old

I have had my tubligation surgery and well that was 6 years ago . I have not had sex in 3 years almost as of october. I was wondering if having sex alot can help increase the chances of getting pregnant . I want another child I am 30 I just was wanting to see if I could have my lil baby boy that I have been wanting, I have 2 girls already and well my husband and I have beeen apart for 3 years and I have not had no sex at all so someone please tell me what to do and can I get pregnant

Pregant after tubal

I had my tubes tied 8 years ago after I had my third daughter. Just 2 1/2 weeks ago I went to the ER thinking I had kidney stones and too my surprise the Doc told me I was pregnant. The preganncy turned out 2 be ectopic, I was unbelievably almost 2.5 months along and so my tube ruptured and I had to have an emergency surgery to have the fetus removed. I am now being told by the Doc I better get back on birth control.
