Sad for the past year I have dealt with severe constipation I will go up to 3 weeks before having a bowel movement. My abdoman is sollowin, my stool is smaller than it use to be, I feel full all the time. I have sharpe pains on my left side. At times intercourse is painful. Yes I have asked my doctor about this all he does is prescribe laxatives that don't work. I have also tried zelnorm. It may work the first time I use it but that is it. I have changed my eatting habits. I eat more fruit now and drink a lot more water but nothing helps. I can not get anyone to take me serious that there is something wrong help

Find a lower gi specialist, because this is beyond the scope of what your family doctor can diagnose. A specialist can also do things that a family doctor can't, like get you in for an unpleasant though necessary scope, and has experience that a generalist doesn't. Do this soon, so you can get an answer to your problem.

Good luck with everything! Know you're in my thoughts and prayers!

Peace and blessings,
paul
