I just had my wisdom teeth taken out and I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how long I should wait to start smoking again. I've heard everything from 12 hours to 2 weeks Shocked

The minimum period should be 10 days. The recommended period is 21 days.

Randy,please do not smoke for at least 48-72 hours-minimum.If you do,you run the risk of dislodging the blood clot that helps you heal.This is called "dry socket" and is very painful.If you need the nicotine,get yourself a patch at the drugstore.Good luck!!Patty
