Hi, im new to this forum..... My
girlfriend was just diagnosed with
moderate to severe hpv, and she has only
had sex with me.... I have had sex with
about 6 other girls, and needless to say
feel responible and incredibly guilty.
Anyway this is the girl I want to marry
and really do not want to have to tell her
parents about the disease. We are both
over 18 and can take care of the
treatment, but I just wanted to ask if
anyone here knows how much the laser or
other types of abnormal cell removal
treatments cost?
She was told by her doctors that abnormal
cells were found and that treatment is
neccesary, so I want to pay for all the
expenses if I can...
Anyone know a ballpark figure on these
kind of treatments?

She will have to go to her doctor for
treatment...There are different methods.
They will probably prescribe a medicated
cream or lotion...If that doesnt work,
there are other options, but I dont think
any are enormously expensive. The cream
I got was about $50.00, and it worked
fine. Although this is probably
devastating to you both right now, it is
not the end of the world and statistics
say that 80% of sexually active people
will come into contact with this very
common disease at some point. Good luck,
and have her see her doc right away.

Thanks for posting that link, i've had hpv
for awhile now and just found this site
looking for possible creams to use.
It's not the end of the world even though
it feels like it. I pretty much have the
same story as you, the girl I was with had
only really been with me and I had been
with 4 other people. I felt terrible and
extremly guilty for a long time, the guilt
still hasn't really left me. keep ya head up
though!!!
