Hey girls....It's me....Sorry I haven't been on lately....Well, here's an update: I lost my job yesterday. I found out about 3 or 4 weeks ago that I was preggers, I told my friend at work (there's only about 4 of us who work in the office).....Needless to say everyone found out. But the catch was, not to tell john (the main boss) because I was going through temporary service and I had been there just a week shy of getting hired on directly by john. Well, he had already mentioned to pam (the main office person) that he wasn't going to hire another pregnant girl on full time because the last 4 he hired from temp. Got pregnant and quit after they had their babys......It sucks, but everyone knew that they were supposed to keep there mouths shut until I got hired on full time......Well, there's this girl there, named jennifer, she's a health forum......Anyways, we had been having problems the last week, because I guess she felt threatened, I dunno but she didn't like me and everyone knew that. Well, when pam got back from lunch yesterday ( I was out because I couldn't stop vomitting) john stormed into her office asking how come she never told him that I was pregnant, and pam said that it was because she knew he wouldn't hire me on full time, so were going to wait until he did that to let him know, that way he couldn't have legally let me go. Well, he said "you need to let the temp. Service know that taylor's assignment has ended today".........Long story short john said that jennifer was the one who told him during lunch and then pam went to confront jennifer and pam said that she looked her right in the eyes and swore that she didn't tell him.....Anyways, pam gave her 2 weeks notice yesterday becuase she was so upset about the situation....She had been wanting to leave for awhile though, because the girls are backstabbers and john's a dick....Anyways, for the good news....Today is my first ever doctor's appointment.....It's at 4:00 pm......My mom's coming from her town to go with me, anyways *wish me luck*......I hope everyone has a wonderful day:) ~taylor

Okay girls (the one's who replied....Lol) I went to the docs yesterday and the couldn't find the heartbeat:( I was really upset, but he said that's very common for me only being 10 weeks. My official due date is may 2, 2005 and I am so excited. Then my nurse called this morning and said that my "vaginal smear" came back and I have an infection? I was like what the hell? Anyways, she said it's very common. I have my first ultrasound october 20~ how's everyone doing today? Write back:)

Oka first I am really sorry for what happened. Next, why did you tell anyone? You usually want to keep it quiet until it is obvious (you are showing), and even then you are not required to tell anyone. And, lastly, I think that you may have a case. I know that you were a temp, but your boss did make the statement that he was not going to hire anymore pregnant girls fulltime ,which is blatant discrimination. Also, he asked pam, why she didn't tell him that you were pregnant, which in none of his business, and he does not have a right to know. As a matter of fact I want to recant the statement "i think that you may have a case." I know you have a case. I am tired of people discriminating aaist pregnant wome. It is usually hard to prove, but in this case it looks pretty cut and dry.

Go here read it ,and print it out http://www.Judiciary.State.Nj.Us/factsheet s/fact_preg.Pdf

(you would be considered a casual employee)
