wot does a fever feel like?I felt hot and sweated a lot but think this is anxiety-isnta fever always accompanied by cold shivering?

answer:no not always, a fever is common and not necessarily a symptom of HIV. It could be a flue or cold or a number of things.

-cant night swets be caused by nightmares/anxiousness/alcohol

answer:yes, night sweats can be caused by excessive drinking or nightmares or a temperature.

-finally wot do swollen lymph glands fee like-thought they were little pea-sized round things underneath jaw and by ears but my longmuscles on either side of neck running from head to collar seemed really tense and therefore a little painful. Can these symptoms all be in the head

answer:they could be psychosomatic but they could also be very real. Lymph nodes are under your arm pits, on either side of your groin and on each side of your neck below your jaw line. The swolen lymph nodes is not psychosomatic.Your symptoms could be a cold, flu, fever,etc. They are related to many things including HIV and other STDs and common everyday viruses. If you are truly thinking it is HIV then the only way to know for sure is to get the test. You have to weight 3 months to get a correct result from the HIV test after contact with the alleged carrier.
