I have had problems for many years with my
ears. They itch on the inside and have
swollen completely shut. This was
extremely painful. I am not a swimmer
and I hardly ever get water in my ears in
the shower. They seem to seep
occassionally and then itch some more. I
seem to notice it more at night time. I
feel that it's more an allergy than
anything. Has anyone else out there
experienced this problem? If so, did you
find the cause?

Hi gayle,
sounds painful. I also have the ear itch
and ooze. Never swells shut though. I
was tested allergic to peanuts and
seafood. These are the most common
allergens. Try cutting them out. Also,
what is your diet like?
