Miscarriage?
Posted: 10-05-04 16:24pm

I'm posting this in several places to cover all the areas....

I'm kinda wondering if I might have had a miscarriage or if it's just really weird side effects from the pill. My bf and I have always used condoms when we have sex. I tend to get irregular periods, and i've been known to skip one entirely every 5-6 months, so when I didnt get my september period, I didn't worry too much and then started on the pill later in the month.

The other day, I started bleeding a little bit and I figured I was just spotting, which I know can be a side-effect. But on sunday night, I wiped myself and there was something....Not normal...On the toilet paper. I was really curious and freaked out, so I washed it off in the sink...It was the consistency of...Idk...Skin almost, or maybe thin meat fat?? It's hard to describe. It was obviously torn, but looked about the size of a quarter. My bf thinks i'm just freaking out, but i'm still really curious. Could I have been pregnant (small tear in a condom, maybe, because none have visibly ripped on us before) and had the birth control cause a miscarriage??? And will all this bleeding while still in the middle of my bc pack cause problems when it comes to sex and protection?

I've had the same thing happen to me recently and havent sought out any answers as of yet. I'm scared and would like to know if it was because of the form of birth control that I am on that may have caused it.
