Confused I recently found out that my gallbladder is only functioning at 20%. I think this started a few years ago, because that is when I started feeling sick. I also started getting a lot of headaches at the same time my other symptoms started, and I get them chronically ever since. Does anyone else with gallbladder problems get headaches a lot? It's like I have one every day, but it comes and goes and varies in intensity. I know that headaches and digestive problems can be related, but wanted to find out if anyone else has had the same experience.

Gallbladder And Head
Hi, my name is steve. A close friend of mine had the worst head pain I have ever seen any buddy have. To the point that she would go to the hospital for pain shots all most every week. This went on for all most four years. Then one day she awakened with gallbladder pain. The docters removed her gallbladder the same day. Any way since then my freind has been doing great with know more head pain. I am not a docter but that seemed to do the trick for my friend. Good luck and god bless

Thanks Steve
Well, it's good to hear that I may not be nuts. For me, I have had headaches and nausea for a few years, then I started having gallbladder pain. I have not had the surgery yet, still debating. But now I know that it may be related, even though it started much later. Thanks so much. :d

if you're feeling sick, and not eating, or experiencing nausea and vomiting, your blood sugar may be low. If you can tolorate it try some sugary liquid next time it happens.

gallbladder and headaches, its true!
I have talked to two people who have both had headaches for years, got their gallbladders removed and now no longer have headaches. I have gallbladder problems right now, and my headaches are horrible. Just like you, I have headaches on a daily basis *its a miracle if I do not have a headache for one day!)* They also are just as you said, vary in intensity, sometimes I don't have to take anything, sometimes I have to go to the extreme of taking prescription headache med with codeine.
