Hey everyone!
I am new to this site, but I have read some pretty good posts on here so far. I am a single, never been married, 25 year old male that is expecting a baby with a friend through casual sex!!! (((whew that's a mouthful!!!) we talked about abortion because we know absolutely nothing about each other and are total opposites in life. I have no feelings for her, I don't want to be with her, I am totally in love with someone else, but realize that I am soon to share a child with someone that I am being forced to know! I don't want to be a "guy" that runs from the challenge of being a father, rather, I am a "man" who stepps up to the plate and is a positive influence in my child's life! I am scared and have no idea where to start. I guess I should start with my parents. Even though I am "grown", they still have the biggest influence in my life. I was not raised to do what I have done and I know how big of a disappointment this news is going to be to them and my sister. My sister went through a pregnancy, unwed, but birthed still-born at 6 months. This was a major blow to her and the family, but they were there for her. I am scared that their reactions are not going to be reciprocated back to me. I just kinda feel alone right now, but trying to keep a clear head about the whole thing. Help!!! Advice!!! Holla,
