I have had shin splints of about 2 years now, I get them on and off, when I rest for a month they go away, when I get back into training they come back, I am doing a high impact form of martial arts which requires a lot of jumping. Can someone please help

I am a student athletic trainer and the reason you may be getting shin splits is because you are not using the proper shoes and your feet may be landing the wrong way. I'm not an expert on this but I know that much. I hope it helps, make sure your shoes have arches.
