Can Someone Tell Me What I Have? Nose Illness Posted: 10-06-03 17:14pm
Ok, whenever I get sick (it's that time
again) the back of my nose gets really
dry, and it's hard to get phlem and mucus
through it. It gets really irritated and
dry, and I constantly have to swallow to
keep it somewhat tolerable. When I go to
sleep I can't keep swallowing so when I
wake up it kills. I hate this, I know
when it's comin' everytime I get it, but
don't know the name of it. I think I
should get one of those humidifier things,
so it doesn't dry at night. Does anyone
know what this is called, and some
treatments to ease it, thanks.

A humidifier should work. When I get
sick like that I also take a pot of hot
water (be careful) and put two or three
back tea bags in it. Then sit over it
with a towel over my head. This always
helps my head drain without all the nose
blowing. I would also make sure you use
some serious moisturizer around your nose
area to keep it from getting too dry.

I have the very same problem. It hurts so
much, I wish I could get rid of this
problem.

Try using a saline solution nose spray.
This should also help.
