I have to go back to work tomorrow Crying or Very sad i've just had 2 weeks off and really don't feel like it. Maybe I will have to schedule my matrnity leave to start a little sooner than I had planned Laughing
seems like every time I have time off work I get sick.
Last year we went away and I spent the whole week ill with a flu like condition.
This year, we stayed home, I got flu like condition now, I went to a e on weds night with abdo pains, that they said was a urine infection - i'm not convinced - no burning or stinging when peeing, no bladder pain empty or full - but I did have major period style pains.
At least 4 times I had to tell them that no I wasn't bleeding, yes, I was 14 1/2 weeks pregnant.
Then they asked me when my last period was Rolling Eyes well 14 1/2 weeks ago.
They suggested ectopic pregnancy - like i'm 14 1/2 weeks (15 now) and i've had 2 scans, so we know the foetus is in my uterus and the foetus is like what 5-6inches crown to rump, fallopian tubes mmmmmmmmm few millimeteres across - I think we would have known by now don't you.
Then because I had abdo pains - they listened to my lungs!!! what
then asked me how bad I was bleeding - hello - i'm still not, doesn't anyone listen.
Grrr - rant over.
Himself had to leave the room, when the doc asked me for the umpteenth time what kind of pain I had, and I answered "painful pain" Wink

By the way, in the end I demanded that I see a gynocologist, not just a doctor and I got my way, took them maybe 10mins but they found a gyno and at last I didn't have to keep answering the same stupid questions over and over. Rolling Eyes

I had to do the parrot thing with my school therapist.. It's so annoying.. How many times can you ask me why I don't want to speak to my mother and why I don't have many friends?

Brandy - you reminded me of when himself had to see a school therapist.
He was very much a loner as a child. His sister (about 8 years older) is terrified of thunder storms, so he would camp in her room whenever there was a storm, this somehow got twisted as he sleeps with his sister Rolling Eyes and into therapy he was dragged - then really pisseed them all off by refusing to talk, because he thought they were talking crap - he was only about 7-8 at the time.
