Q: Yasmin And Breast Growth

I just started taking yasmin after being on aleese for awhile due to the fact that I get cyst on my ovaries. I know breast growth is mostly due to genetics but I switched to yasmin in hopes of gaining breast tissue. A few friends of mine noticed breast growth and I was just wondering if anyone else has and how long it will take. I am a very small cup size and it really bothers me. Does anyone know of any other ideas for gaining breast tissue?? Thanks.... Sad

Extremely eHealthy
I had intense nipple and breast pain, but did not connect it to yasmine until I read this post!I have been off it since april and have not had any pain,so it must have been related.I also have a very small cup size, but did not have any increase with yasmine.I'm happy to be healthy and have learned to love my little girls almost as much as my husband does!!I used to think about having augmentation, but have known so many people who had problems. As long as I am healthy,i'm not going to mess with what nature gave me.Best of luck to you.Patty

I got bigger breasts on yasmin thank goodness after beginning yasmin.. About a a cup size(: perhaps thats where the weight gain went to ( 4 lbs)..Or at least I will let myself think that.. However, I have never had soreness in my breasts before, but now...Somedays they are so tender!

I have had enough severe breast pain on yasmin that I am getting off of it. I went from a 32c to a 32d, and trust me you cannot find this size anywhere. I have also had the nipple tenderness. They almost get chapped. I have been on yasmin for 7 months and this has only happened 5 times. I have also gained 15 pounds of water weight. I cannot wait to get off of it. As for increasing your breast size, a girlfriend of mine just recieved implants. She went from a barley an a to a c cup, and is very happy.

I was on yasmin for a year and I had tons of problems on it. I had issues with vaginal irritation/soreness/burning, my breasts were always sore, massive headaches, weight gain, and the worst of all the symptoms was that my blood pressure would sky rocket and my heart would beat so hard that I thought it was gonna come out of my chest.

I went to my obgyn in december and she told me never to take oral contraceptives again. My blood pressure was 190/100.

Since I have stopped taking yasmin, all these symptoms have gone away. I am now actually on the nuvaring.

Breast Pain And Yasmin
I have been on yasmin for the past four months. Last month, my doctor found a few cysts on my breasts. Last week, during my period, I started feeling some tenderness on my breasts. I also had a heavy period.
This monday, I felt tenderness, swelling, stings and a burning sensattion on my breasts. I had to take tylenol for the pain.
I wonder if is an age problem (i'm 37) or the pill (yasmin)
i have never had problems with other pills :(

Each pill can affect a woman differently. It just depends on your body if your breast tissue will increase with starting a new brand of pill. Some women will gain a little weight and others won't. Mine didn't with yasmin, but did with a different brand.

I think you just have the experiment and try different brands until you find one that works for you.

Yasmin :)
Hiya!

I've been on yasmin for merely 2 weeks and I think my breasts went up 1/2 a cup or a full cup! All my bras feel tight and I haven't gained any weight at all... In fact, I lost weight.

But it's really hard to say because it could just be my current diet (I'm eating a bit healthier these days). What I LOVE about Yasmin is that it doesn't make me feel like a fat bloat like Ortho-Tricyclen Lo!!!

water weight
I recently just got off of low-ogestrel. I "thought" it was okay until I realized I gained 20 lbs in about 9 months. I am VERY cautious about what I eat and exercise daily. 30 min resistance training, 40 min aerobics. This weight was not coming off.

I recently went to my doctor to get blood work, as they thought I might be pre-diabetic or have a thyroid problem. As usual the blood tests came back perfect.

My only other option was to see my gyno. I just got switched to yasmin and have been taking it almost 2 weeks. I really don't notice any side effects or differences. Maybe slight headache here and there. He told me this should help with some of my water weight. I notice anymore a couple days before my period, I get BEYOND bloated. I mean I cant even fit into ANY of my pants for about 3-4 days I have that much water weight. The whole ordeal is getting just overly frustrating. No matter what I do I cannot lose this weight.

Anyone had an easier time maintaining a good weight/ losing weight easier on yasmin after switching from a different bc pill?

Breast Growth
I was on Demulin for about 5 months and then my doctor switched me to Yasmin. Now that I am on yasmin I have noticed that my breasts have grown about 1/2 a cup size, my one breast is slightly harder than the other breast, and they are tender [one moreso than the other].
I noticed this change right as soon as i got onto Yasmin.

I've been on Yasmin and was really tiny when I started, like an 30A nearly B. I've gained to a nearly 32D, but am a little worried that maybe it's not letting my chest grow to it's fullest since both of my sisters are bigger there. (Yet again their whole body is a bit bigger. I only eat organic which takes alot of junkfood out of my diet.) So, now that I read this I'm starting to think that maybe it is helping some. Though for some of you guys, water weight can be avoided by acctually drinking more water. (Its true) I drink like 1.5 liters a day at minimum and have never had a problem with water weight. I read a thingy recently on it and it said that drinking more water will make you gain a little more weight at the beginning, but after a week or two you will start to see a great improvment. Not to mention that soda can add ALOT of water weight. I never gave it any thought until I read that. (I'm not able to drink soda due to health problems)Turns out your DNA can't tell what year you are in, so your digestive system still thinks that you are in dinosaur eara, thats why running will tone so well, cause it shocks your body into thinking that your running away from danger or your hunting for food. Hope I helped some Smile. (I'm only 14 so if somethings wrong I'm sorry, still learning.)

Breast Growth
I've only been on Yaz for 2 weeks and my breast were very sore almost immediately. They are so sore in fact, that I've woken up in the night due to the pain of accidentally rolling onto my belly(though no nipple sensitivity). On the up side, they are definitely bigger, I don't know how much, maybe 1/2 or 1 cup size. I am 27 with AA cups originally. So the little bit they've grown makes a big difference to me. I have been on a lot of different BC pills and this is the first one that has had this effect on me. I was looking on here to see if the tenderness will ever subside, and if they'll maintain their new size after going off of the pill. I don't have any intention of doing that for quite a while but I don't want them to keep growing, stretching my skin just to disappear later. I have no interest in breast implants..I think small boobs are a lot prettier, and I just don't want to ruin them with saggy skin later.

Yes, they grew (unfortunately for me)
Yes, mine got noticeably bigger on yasmine, and then i switched to the generic, Ocella, and they got even bigger. I, unfortunately, am not happy about this, as I was a perfect small C, and now cannot fit into any of my bathing suits anymore. I guess no one is happy with what they have. You wish yours were bigger, I wish mine were the way they used to be.

Yasmin pill..
Well Im 20 years old, 21 in a few months, and my 13 year old little cousin has bigger boobs than me. I've been on Microgynon since i was 15 and havent had any side effects from it at all, however it has definatley sorted out my period, i always know when im goin to get them. Its a little humilating when i barely even fill an A cup, and i am actually considering changing my pill for that very fact, i dont know what to do?!

Hello--- I recently started the generic Ocella... and I have had positive results mostly. I am starting my 3rd week and I have noticed breast soreness, and I put on a bra that was a little "roomy" and now I am busting out of it! (I was a 38 D)... and nowww? I don't know... what's after a D? DD? I believe its the high estrogen content in the pills. Other symptoms: morning nausea (if I try to eat too early in the morning), brown discharge... and that's about it... I was nausea 24/7 when I started but it has greatly decreased, so wait it out! My skin is starting to look better as well. Drink lots of water, and watch your potassium intake!
