We have got to get rid of these 14 year
olds at work! I cannot stand them.. I
have got 2 that are brother and sister and
all about the rush rush rush and they
never actually get anything decently
clean. Always rushing me, always being
impatient with me because I realize I am a
dishwasher not dishroom window clearer..
Meaning that amongst the rush to get those
dishes out.. I also have to manage to..
You know.. .W.A.S.H them. One even had
the nerve to call me a slacker right in
front of my face and I never slacked on
the job as much as the boy that he brought
in does. The boy that this other kid
brought in is soooooooo much of a slacker
and so annoying and complains about doing
the little we ask of him and he spits over
everything and constantly talking about
leaving early which isn't very funny
because that's extra work we have to do
and it slows us down immensely, I don't
need the extra stress. It all became
too much the other day and I actually went
outside and cried for about 3 minutes but
I had to stop and go back in to help josh
(my bf) who works with me now but has to
work today without me thanks to that dumb
kid calling off. He always wants us to
help him with his little job but he sits
there and jokes about leaving which like I
said, would make us work extra hard and
slow us down. All he has to do is put
the dishes away, and once he had the nerve
to .T.E.L.L my 18 year old bf that he was
going to switch with him. Bf told him
i'm the dishwasher supervisor and he
believed it
we
have no designated supervisors.. I just
have seniority over the others. It is
very distressing to have a huge bunch of
dishes coming in and coming in and on top
of it, to have someone whining about doing
the simple job that is asked of them. It
takes all the strenght I have not to walk
out but I know if I do that, I will lose
my job and I will leave the others with a
heavier workload which I care about unlike
most of the others, so if he or someone
else seriously calls me a slacker again, I
will walk out of there for a good 15
minutes or see if there is any prep work I
can do. I have more to lose by quitting
and walking out then I do to gain so I
will never let any drive me to the point
where I lose out on my job and what I am
trying to do because of their
incompetence. Sorry this is so long..
These people are just driving me crazy.
