Hi. I'm new to ehealth and don't really know anything about it but I am very concerned about something. I belive I have just got my period because when I came home and went to the bathroom when I wipped there was orangish red blood on the tp. So I am assuming I have got my period but; I didn't get cramps, nothing at all. This is the first time this has happened, ever. Is there something wrong with me?

Was it time for your period?

If not, there are a few things that can cause "break through" bleeding. One of the most common causes of bleeding without pain is polyps. Polyps can be removed with an outpatient procedure called a d&c.

I would definitely suggest making an appointment with your gyno. If the bleeding continues, you might want to make sure to tell the doctor's office that it's urgent.
