Ok maybe i'm a little exaggerating with
the "loving it" i'll explain myself.
I'm pretty sure i've had epilepsy since I
was 14, but my neurologist said it
probably started even earlier. I've had
seizures ranging from petit mal tonic,
simple partial and grand mal. During a
day I probably go through about 40 petit
mal seizures. I can't drive, and I don't
take any medication, although I was
offered epilim. Why? Well the simple
answer is in some seizures I hallucinate,
not badly. I don't see things that aren't
there (most of the time). The things I
see are all in their correct places, they
merely look like the whole area has moved
across the globe. Confused? Bare in mind
I have a rare case of epilepsy.
You know when your dreaming and you might
be at your old high school? You can
obviously identify it as your high school
but there is something not so normal about
it? Well this is what I see when i'm
conscious. It will happen at least twice
a week without fail. And I love it. If I
lost this type of seizure I wouldn't be
myself. As for the tonic and grad mal
well they don't seem that serious. I've
only had one grad mal and I was in the
shower and I managed to pull myself out of
the seizure because my brain started
gaining consciousness before I stopped
shaking. I wasn't hurt surprisingly, the
only down side is I don't know how long it
went for.
I have never had a completely unconscious
seizure apart from that. Most other
seizures involve a dream-like state which
I find quite pleasing. So i'm not willing
to change unless it gets worse.
What I wanted to know is does anyone else
have seizures like mine. The neurologist
said it's very very rare.
I only got diagnosed this year, I wish
they found out sooner coz I failed
high-school
my causes are unknown but during my
research I found out that epilepsy can be
linked with injuries as a child (a fell
head first down 3 meters onto rock), and
kidney problems (i have an abnormal
kidney).
