Hi lady eliza,
i didn't start puking till after 10 weeks - in fact I think I was closer to 12.
It hasn't been everyday either. It has been quite random, more like car sick in feeling.
However, when I got pregnant before I was sick morning, noon and night, from only a few weeks.
For a lot of women it should wear off between 14-16weeks.
Unless you are having trouble keeping almost anything down, you should be ok, remember to keep up your fluid intake so you don't get dehydrated.
If you struggle to even keep fluids done you may be at risk of hyperemesis, but this can be treated, you will need to see a doctor for that though.
Ginger is proven to help with sickness, gingerbread, cake ,tea, ale. Or try plain carackers.
Eat small frequent meals. Also there is a product available online called preggie pops - didn't appeal to me but some swear by them.
Good luck
