My fiance is in his third year of post kidney transplant. He is currently has medicare covering 80% of his immunosuppressive drugs. This coverage will end in december because of the 3 year limit to transplant patients. Does anyone know what insurance is best for the high cost of these drugs?

Transplant Drugs
If he is able to work that would be the best solution. I have an hmo that covers all my drug costs.

Yes - he is able to work. We just relocated to the florida area and I am trying to find something that will help us out for the next couple of months before he gets insurance through his new job. I'm very concerned that when medicare runs out - we are going to be stuck with thousands of dollars a month for his medication, if the new insurance dosent pick up a large portion of the costs. What hmo's do you know of that have good rx plans - and do you know if they are costly?

Thanks for the reply.
