Q: My Bosses Baby..............

Hey guys
my lovely boss is 7 and a half months preggers. She was told last week that the baby had stopped growing and that her cervix had softened. She was given steriod injections in her thighs to stimulate its heart. Now, she's gone into 'slow labour' (i dont get what this means) and is having a caesareaan in 2 wks. I'm so worried about her. She had complications with her last pregnany and her daughter was 2months early and very tiny.
Will she be ok?

She has an good chance of survival!! I am sure that everything will be fine! The steroids are there to help speed up the development of the baby's lungs. Basically your boss is dilating like I did! I started at 34 weeks and thats when I went on bedrest, however since they are doing steroids and a c-section is sounds as though she is moving along alot faster! Give her my best!!

I feel a little better now. Can't wait for little molly to be born! All the girls from where I work are going to the house to visit lucie (my boss) and molly a couple of days after she's born. I'm so excited! When lucie left, I bought molly a little red dress and a pink and white one! They were so cute! I also bought lucie relaxing bath stuff cos my mom says everyone forgets about the mom and focuses on the baby! Do u think this is true?
