Luckily, my doctor was able to say 'I
don't know' quite easily and sent me to
all types of specialists to get me help.
If you have any questions, I would, as
usual, suggest a second opinion.
Furthermore, it has been my experience
that GPs and Internists vary on their
Lupus experiences. Some are extremely up
to date, while others are lacking in
information. I know this is a concern of
the CDC and the LFA and they are working
on better educating on Lupus with Primary
Care Specialists.

First thing to do is educate yourself as
much as possible about Lupus and its
related diseases and by all means take
good care of yourself.
