Hey everyone-
my grandma is in the hospital. She has internal bleeding..And she fell on sunday...Broke her hip and is so much pain, its hard to see her in the pain. Today she is having hip surgery, she is in her mid-70s and I just hope she pulls through. I love her to death, she has lived with me since the day I was born...And I am now 17 years old. I go to college 3 days week and work 4 days of the week. I might have to quit my job to help take care of my grandmother...We are going to rent a hospital bed...And I know I cant help my grandmother 24 hours. Its just my mom and I right now being strong for her. My dad is out of town in florida helping with the clean up he will be gone for quite some time. I just am stressing over it...Its hard...Its really hard girls..I just want to cry...Seriously..Please have her in your thoughts..And if you pray...Pray! Thanks everyone... Sad

Has she had the op yet?
How did it go?
I remember we had a hopital bed in our dining room when I was about3-4years old for my great grandad - I don't really remember why, just that the company was appreciated and I had someone to read to.
Oh gee you're in america aren't you? I keep thinking you're in ireland? I was gonna say won't community care nurses be able to help you guys out - do you get them in america?
I'll be thinking of you guys, hope everything is well.

Well, the surgery went well. Tomorrow is my last day of work I had to quit so I can help take care of my grandma, I have been crying all day long..Its so hard to watch her in that much pain...And see her like this. But, everything went well..So that is good. I guess it could have been worse, but it still could be a whole lot better. Now its just recovery time..So pray for my grandmothers strength and recovery. Luv yll so much! *hugs* thanks for everything...Keep the thoughts.. Sad
