Did any of you guys that already had your babies or do any of you currently pregnant ladies ever experience this:-

when I cough or sneeze it often hurts real bad at the lowest point of my abdomen. Kinda like a bad period cramp, it lasts for ages afterwards as well.

I'm pretty sure nothing is wrong, but just wondered if anyone else had had this Question

I'm 24 weeks, and I noticed a week or two ago, I tense up whenever I sneeze or cough because it does hurt. It doesn't hurt for that long afterwards I don't think (haven't done it in a while) but it's definitely uncomfortable and a little scary i'll admit.

p.S. I just noticed last night how hard my uterus gets after sex/orgasm. I know that's what's supposed to happen, but I never paid that much attention to it before and it was weird.

Im 14 weeks, and yes I too noticed light cramping after we had sex (yay we finally go round to it again - just couldn't face it in the early weeks lol)
but this is like a bad period pain - I was sat indian style (cross legged) last night and sneezed (i seem to sneeze a lot right now) and I thought I was gonna have pushed the poor little dot right out.
I was curled up in pain for maybe 10mins and had to go to the loo to check I wasn't bleeding - I really thought the force was gonna do some damage.
Then calmed down and got real with myself.
I did mention it at my last scan but the sonographer just kinda smiled and said "hmm".

Oh scan - I nearly forgot - I must scan my scan and post it...

Maybe it was the way you were sitting, because I was always standing when it happened to me. I'm sure you're fine, it was pretty much the same way for me. Maybe because of the way you were sitting you pulled something. I'm strained lower abdominal muscles and had it feel like period cramps. You feel fine now right?

Maybe its because your muscles are so tense and stretched?

I feel great until I sneeze (sneezing is worse than coughing)
so far it has happened - in the car, sat at computer, sat crossed legged on my japanese stools.

I have a clinic (???) on friday so I will mention it then.
It's probably going to be poor posture on my behalf so something like that.
Knowing doctors they will say it is because I am overweight - that's their answer to everything Rolling Eyes

thanks guys
