Q: Addicted to Jealousy?

Ok, well jason was a very jealous person our whole relationship, and I hated it. So.. He changed, andi hated it. I told him I felt unloved.. So he became jealous again over somthing and I yelled at him. So obviously he got mad because I was sending extremely mixed signals.

Today walking home I realized that his jealousy is my security blanket in a way. Its somthing thats been in our relationship through the good and the bad, somthing that has stayed the same.. So when its not there, I get scared and nervous that somthing is wrong and somthings bad going to happen between us.

Does anybody have advice as to how I can get past having his jealousy as my security blanket? Because I dont want it to screw up our relationship

Lol.. I understand how you feel.. You kind of want them to miss you when you are gone and be obsessive but at the same time you dont' want to be smothered.. It's understandable.. I think I am the same way... This would be the convo
me "i'm going out to the strip club, you alright with that?"
him "sure have fun"
me "so you don't care? Do you want to get rid of me?"
him "no, I just know that you are not cheating on me and you will come home to me"

me "well fine.. I guess you don't love me that much then"
him "well fine, I don't want you to go"
me "so you're trying to control me now?"

Laughing does that about sum it up? No offense meant..

I am extremlyl jealous when it comes to my relationship.. I'm the "come too close and i'll bite your head off health forum" kind Laughing the one's that go up and fondle the guys nuts or something when they see a broad coming too close Wink

I think it's okay to have jealousy as your security blanket. He realizes you're a female and females don't know what the hell they want, and that's probably why he loves you.

If someone loves you...You expect them to get jealous because they want to spend all their time with you...But as that love grows...The relationship gets more secure.
