Well my mom has been a smoker for about 30 yrs or so she just found out that she might have cancer in her lungs but they said it might be from her being sick with a cold. Well she has gone 3 days witout a cig and she is going crazy last night she hit her self in the head with a hair spray bottle and cause it to bleed really bad my sister called 911 they said she would be ok that she did not need steches. She is thinking about stabing her self with a knif to end the pain and she is going crazy she said she is so depressed and she does not know what to do. She said she crys for no reason and my mom is the most calm person and so full of life before she quit smoking. This is not like my mom I have been talking to her and leting her know that I am proud of her and im concered about her im trying to do the best I can but sometimes I do not know what to say to her. I told her to go to the docter I said maybe they can put you on a medication to help you quit and give you some stuff for depression> I don't know if she will or not. Is this normal for my mom to be acting this way? Please help I cry all the time I am so worried about my mom I know how she feels I am a smoker also and trying to quit but right now im so stressed I can't. Please help someone anyone ever get crazy when they tried to quit and what do you do?
