Ok heres the thing, I have to go get an u/s on wed to check my ovaries I have been having bad problems with my right one and cysts on it alot. They say that if this keeps on I may have to get it removed. But my question is that when I go in wed I am only going to have about a week until I am to get my period. If I am preg do you think that they will be able to see that with it only being 3 weeks. Just wanting to know. Do you think it is possible, with my first son I had an u/s at 7 weeks and it was small then. Any help would be nice. My son is 5 will be 6 in dec so its been a while. Thanks

I would think the placenta would be there already even if a bit small, but just express your concern that you are ttc or w/e and ask them for a bloodtest before hand, u can get the results in less than thirty minutes if they do it on the premesies

This was my cyst experience, but it's probably much different than most peoples.

When I was 12 I had a small amount of sharp pain behind my belly button. I wanted to get out of school, so I said maybe it was appendicitus(sp?). I went to the emergency room and got poked and prodded, and they said maybe it was an ovarian cyst. So I went and got an ultrasound and they found a 7 cm cyst on my ovary. It sounds small, but apparently it was twice as big as my ovary. I had lapriscopic surgery to remove it, but while I had the cyst, I never really felt anythign at all. I'm glad I decided to fake appendicitus. I think it's weird though because other people with ovarian cysts can feel a lot of pain. I'm a freak. It was an isolated incident though, and I haven't had one since.

My cysts are very painful, I get them all the time monthly, I have a rx for pain to take they get so bad, sometimes I cant even move and have to craw to the were I got to get or when I walk I walk real slow slumped over and have to lay in very hot tubs for hours and have a heating pad on me too. Then you cant have sex because it is so pain full, that happened the other night but I knew I had one but it was not that bad but in the middle of having sex it rupruched and I could not move my poor bf did not know what to do for me, I was ready to go to the er I was hurting so bad I was curled up in a ball crying. They have said from one that I had over a year ago that I have many small ones on my right one, it sucks, but I have been in so much pain over the years I am ready to tell them to just remove it. But that would make a big decrease in me trying to have kids, and I want to have more children, if I have to decide its going to be very hard to do because I am only 26 and have one kid and I want at least one more.

Now that you mention it I remember right before I got it removed I had to walk hunched over. It was so long ago, but damn girl, I can't imagine how painful that must be.
