When I went in and got my pills (ortho tricyclen lo), the nurse said that this brand was also usable as a morning after ec method...But she never said anything more, and the package instructions don't say anything either!! Do I just double up on pills for a day, using one from an extra pack?

Any knowledge on this would be helpful...Thanks!

Go to the planned parenthood website.That has all the info for using your bcp's as ec.Good luck!Patty

It isn't recommended but you can by taking a higher dose.
However this will possibly make you feel quite ill. And as always prevention is better than cure.
