Lol I know, when I got out of the shower when I was kinda engorged, my boobs were pouring milk. I walked out of the bathroom without a shirt on and kevins like what are you doing? Lol I told him I needed my nursing pads cuz I was leakin bad. Last night, brooklyn got upset about something and let out this wail, and it was right after I got done nursing her, and I didnt put my boob away yet (i let it dry cuz its supposed to be good or something) and my boob started gushing out milk, and I soaked my pants before I could get to my nursing pad, and on the other side of my pants, brooklyn burped up alot, so I was drenched in my own milk Laughing

Oh I am so not looking forward to that. How long are you going to breastfeed? I'm just curious because i'm still undecided.

My mom breast fed all of us (me and my siblings) until we were almost one. Its supposed to be healthier, and also, much cheaper Wink Wink i'm probably gonna pump breast milk for quite awhile so I dont have to buy formula.

I'm on wic so formula shouldn't be a problem. I read about tis one lady who was trying to wean her toddler off of breast feeding. He was like 2 and a half and he would lift her shirt up in the middle of the grocery store if he was hungry.

When I was in trinidad, we were going door to door and inviting people to this thing and one lady opened the door...She was sitting on the couch breastfeeding a kid that was the length of the couch! He had to have been 5-6! I guess its cheaper! Haha

That's so gross. That would make me really uncomfortable. I definately want to stop breastfeeding before she learns to talk.

I'm afraid i'll start smoking (cigarettes) again after I have the baby. You can't breastfeed if you smoke can you?

Me too. I don't understand myself. I've quit for this long, but not a day goes by that I don't crave nicotine. It's such a disgusting habit.

Do you chew that gum or something?

Yeah, maybe by the time you have your little girl you'll have broken the addiction.

I don't do anything. It was completely cold turkey. I quit a lot of things all at once, and it sucked. In a lot of ways it was great, but my body is still in shock.

You can breastfeed and smoke.... I do... None of the cigarrette smoke gets to the baby or any toxins cuz most of breats milk is made of the contents in your blood becuz the milk supply doesnt get enough of the food u eat so it takes frm the blood (thats why they say dont drink while breatsfeeding until all the alcohol is out of ur system.. Usually 6-8 hours after). I currently breastfeed... And danica's 7 weeks... I dont know how long I plan too but im not gonna go to the point where she can just wlak up to me and lift my shirt! Haha! I figure 6 months or so... But yes my boobs still leak... But if u ever feel urself engorged... Grad a breatspump and start pumping away!!!! I was sooo engorged this mornin (since danica slept 10 hours) so I used my breastpump and got 4 1/2 ounces in 3 minutes! Save the milk! Lol!

Lol I definetly pump n' freeze, I want a big emergency stash for in case if something happens... Or I take a little break and give her to a grandma for the night lol. I wanna go out and drink so bad, but I dont want to leave her so young yet... Maybe when she is a month or two.

I plan on nursing until around 6 months(as long as she dont got any teeth lol) maybe a little later, but no more than 9 months...

On a different subject... I craved nicotine every day of my pregnancy too, and I ended up starting back up(with some people, the cravings never leave, and then once you no longer have something like a baby inside of you, you have nothing stopping you from starting back up), and I still breastfeed. I read somewhere that even smoking cigarettes while breastfeeding is still better than formula feeding and you shouldnt let that be a factor in whether or not you breastfeed, so it must not be that harmful at all.
