If I ovulate on day 14 of my cycle and I have sex on the night of day 16, what are the chances of me getting pregnant?

If your not on birth control or using any kind of protection. I'd say the chances would be grater then if you had sex on the 17th day. In all seriousness it depends. If your cycle is 28 days then you should ovulate on the 14th day some Dr. Say the egg is only able to be fertalized 12-24 hours after it is released. If your cycles are 30 days or longer the chances are even grater as you would ovulate on the 16th day. I say if your looking to get pregnant you may have done good. If your not then hope you aren't. If your period is late wait a couple of days and take a test.

Thanks for the info! I am on ortho-tricylclen lo actually, but I think that I am still ovulating for some reason. I still have all the signs of ovulation. I have a regular 28 day cycle, so if I am ovulating it probalby would have been on the 14th day. I am just unsure, because I heard that you can still get pregnant up to two days after you ovulate.
