Somehow I didn't get bitten by that bug. I didn't want to have children till about 3 years ago, when I was 30!

Well I didnt want a kid but at 15 it just kinda happened lol. I think a lot of girls are lost and want something to love and think that haveing a baby will be something to love and that that baby will love them back. Instead of thinking about the hard parts of parenting!!

P.S. I love my daughter

what???
I think that it is wrong of you to make that assumption. On here maybe it seems that way, but that is because you are on a pregnancy forum. And the age froup you gave 17-23 is not "young" 60 years ago people were married with 2 kids by that age. It's just latley become the social "norm" for people to wait until they are older. I am 22 and am starting on my 2nd pregnancy. And guess what I was married before I was pregnant, and another thing *gasp* I am a damn good parent if I say so my self. Sorry if it seems like I am being mean, but the way your post is worded it sounds as though you are being extremly judgemental and sterotypical. Am I the only one who feels this way?

I Agree
I had my first child when I was 16, my second when I was 17, then got married right after that to their father. I'm almost 22 now, and my husband and I want another child. A lot of people don't understand that. All I have done since I was 16 was take care of my family. That's all I want to do. I've never gone out partying or anything like that. I feel like the lord put us all here for a reason. My reason is to take care of my family. We both started talking about having another baby, and thought that iwould not return to the doctor to recieve my depo, and when the time was right, god would send us a child. I think I may be pregnant, and I will find out defintely on wednesday.... To those of you who are young and having kids, remember what my mom always told me. Everything happens for a reason!!! :d

Some things just happen. I have three kids, ages 6,5 and 3. I am 21. The father and I are still together. We would like to have at least two more. It is hard work, but we both finished high school and college. The first two was unplanned, but then we realized we didn't want to have big gaps in the ages of our children. I have a few medical issues we need to resolve, but then we will begin working on the next one. Family is important to us and we know we wanted a big one.

Hmmm
Personally I don't think 17-23 is too young to have children. If you can afford it and provide with it with a good healthy family then why not go for it?? I think that it's an instinctive thing to want to have children. I mean it wasn't too long ago that at this age women were getting married and starting families!

Im sorry Wink im proud of the girls who keep going on my sister was 19 with her 1st child and I know how hard it was for her. I know girls that are 13 at my daycare with kids and I know its hard for them but they are doing a good job. Im 21 and I just felt like am im supposed to have kids now too? Is it to late by the time I turn 25 but now I realize everyone has a diffrent age to become a mom and I will get mine oneday right now isn't the time for me I guess. Please don't hate me we all say stuff we don't mean. I was just saying I felt like im diffrent that I shouldn't wait so long for kids can't explain. Sorry to anyone if I offended you I didn't mean too I posted this when I was confused and felt like why am I 21 with no kids ect when girls younger than me are married with kids everyone is diffrent im sorry! I agree with bella...I'm 13, but I have a feeling i'd make a great mom. Only thing stopping me is the way my family will portray me if I were to get pregnant. Sad

I know I might make some people mad but I cant help myself. I feel that 13 to 17 is to young to have children because they are still babys there selfs. They havent even had a chance to see what life really is. Oh I know how it feels to want a baby me and my hubby are trying now but I am 23 and I have had a chance to live life and had a great time doing but at 21 I was ready for marragie and a family .

The best time to have a kid is when your married because the baby has a mom and dad thats together which is way better for the kid, not like b/f and g/f crap raising a kid because most of the time the guy doesnt really stick around. If a guy really loves you he will marry you. Also wait after you get a good degree in college so the family is good financially and how society is now a days you just get more respect having a good degree.

Getting Pregnat
I am 14 years old, and I want to have a baby so bad. I have been dating this guy for a while and I really like him and I want to have a baby with him, but he doesn't know it. Should I tell him?? Confused I am kind of confussed, because I know that I am 14, but I know that I would be able to take care of my baby.I want to be a mommy so bad. Am I wrong to think this???

dear xlove x lostx,

i know how you feel, because I am 14 and I want a baby so bad. The only thing stopping me is the thought of how my family would reacte, especcially my dad. He is so protcetive of me I would hate to think how he would reacte to me being pregnant. I think if you want to have a baby go ahead and dont let is stop you, because your family should love you no matter what, but that is how I feel! Good luck! And write back if you like.

Payton---im sorry, but you need to grow up and look at the facts. You asked if you should tell your boyfriend that you are going to have his baby....You are kidding right? You are not ready to be a mom, finish school, get a job, get married, then have a baby
