I was diagnosed with lupus 2 years ago after a blood clot in my leg. My oncologist is great but I still don't understand the differences. I have my it/inr done monthly and continue to take coumidin (15mg) a day.
Heres my problem that I would like some feed back on.I'm 42, 5'4 i've always had large breast (42ddd) last weight was 225. I have put it on fast. Because I suffer from sever headaches I was told I was a canidate for breast reduction. I have family history of breast cancer. The surgen I have seen will only do a total masectomy and then a rebuild. For one it lowers my chances of developeing cancer later on. But also because of the lupus. I have spoken to other Dr.S they feel its a bit radical but can see the point. I want a reduction very bad, but is this something of the norm with lupus patients? I'm more then scared at this point.
