I always thought babies couldnt hold their heads up until they were a little older... She doesnt do it for a long time, but its more and more every day. Its for a good 5 (if not more) seconds now. She also pushes up with her hands. Lol the other day she pushed up and ploped herslf on my face. The pediatrician said she has really good muscle tone though. He was having a difficult tme changing her diaper.

Lol o yea thats always funny to watch them try to lift themselves up. Mackenzie actually turns herself around in her bed, I layed her down like >---0 and I woke up an hour later from a nap and she was 0---< completely turned around and uncovered and all that shes crazy. She also likes to hold her head up when heather or I have her head on our shoulder like to burp her she will all of a sudden throw her head back and then usually sucessfully hold her head for like 30-40 sec its funny stuff she gets a wierd look and then plop there goes her head back onto my shoulder lol. Goodluck with sleeping and all that too, it might be ok and fun now but it get real annoying very quick, I just learned to think about what im doing and not what I dont wanna do. It helps to think she loves me for it lol plus just looking at her face is enough to be a mush mush with her lol -ryan

Yeah, it's normal. I thought mikey was like a genius or something until the doc took me off my cloud and told me that most babies do it. But it's so cute, isn't it!?!
