I have been going through menopause since
I was 25 yrs old after they gave me a
partial hysterectomy and I am 42 yrs old
now the symptoms have never stopped can
anyone tell me if they ever will? I am
very aggervated and distressed over this
no one has been able to answer my question
and I need an answer and fast. I have hot
flashes, night sweats, anxiety,
depression, mood swings, insomnia so bad
that it can be 2 or more days of no sleep,
irritability bad, my sex drive was ok till
the hot flashes kept getting worse and now
I have none. I am on hrt it's called
premarin and am on 0.625 mg. Its not
working have talked to my doctor and the
only thing she said she could do is up my
dosage but I am a smoker and that makes my
risks higher and I dont want that. I am
at my wits end here and dont want to go on
living if this is how I have to live. I
just got married in jan. Of this year I
should'nt feel like this but I do and I am
very aggervated that there's not more
information out there about how long it
takes to get through the symptoms of
menopause if you have had a hysterectomy.
I just
dont know how much longer I can take this
and no one will tell me how long it will
go on and I feel I have a right to know
since I am the one going through all of
the bad things. Can someone please help
me

want to be happy and not feel like I do
now. I had to have a second surgery that
they took my ovaries the 1st one they took
my tubes and uterus now I have nothing
forgot to put that in earlier sorry.
These symptoms have been going on for 17
yrs and I am aggervated that they are
taking so long to get over and I am very
mad that it's been 17 yrs. If the doctor
would have explained all this I would'nt
have had my 1st surgery I would have put
up with the pain it was alot better than
this.
I have never been
so mad in my life and I cant do anything
about it except what they tell me and I
dont agree with it at all. I am sorry to
vent like this and take up so much of this
time. I will shut up now and hope that
someone can help me answer how long do the
menopause symptoms last after a
hysterectomy
please help!!!!!
