I always thought forums were for other people. They were for people worse off than me. They were for people who had no one to talk to. Well today this forum has become part of my life. Thank you all for listening. I was diagnosed bp ll two years ago, but like everyone has suffered for years. Right now I have been on a leave from work since april. I am on lamictal, risperdal and ativan. I was on zoloft, but that just made me crazy. My lamictal is at 250 mg and although i've been on that dosage for several weeks, I am still teary eyed, easy frustrated. I am afraid to tell my doctor as he has mentioned starting me on a medication that is used to treat parkinson's disease. Another friend of mine's doctor took her off it as he said it could cause parkinsons. I fear for the side effects of the drugs. Does anyone have any information about this drug. I'm sorry I don't know the name of it so I hope someone recognizes the description. Xo

Just wanted to say welcome to the forum. I know it ia nice to have a place to go where others experience the same things as yourself.

I don't recognize the description of the medication, howerever, I also take lamictal and it can take longer to really work.

Good luck
