Q: Could I Be Pregnant?

Hi, i'm new to this forum thing. But I know my best friend relies on them since she's stuck at home all day with three kids and is far from home so has no one to get advice from. I actually live about 10 minutes from home...But my mom wants grandkids so bad that I don't want to ask her questions and get her hopes up for nothing...So here it goes.

I'm just wondering if I might be pregnant. I'm not due to have a period for 6 more days. But this past week i've had minor cramping on a few days, i've had to pee lots, i've had a couple headaches (which isn't normal for me) and i'm totally emotional like I used to be when I was on the pill...That's one of the reasons I stopped taking the pill, it was draining me emotionally. I've been doing research online, and I know which day I was supposedly ovulating and I know my husband and I had sex on that day and the couple days prior to it, but then didn't have sex for a couple days after it.

Hopefully someone in this forum will at least have some advice or know my chances of being pregnant. I'd like to be pregnant, i'm not really trying, but i'm not trying not to get pregnant either. We just figure when it happens it happens and we'll be really happy. But with how i've been feeling this week i'm just curious.

Thanks in advance. :d

Yes, I would say that if you had sex on or right before you ovulated that there is a good chance that you could be pregnant. I would suggest waiting a couple of day then take an early-response pregnancy test.

Thanks...I'll probably wait until the day after I miss af before I try a test. I'm just curious and kind of anxious to know. If anyone else has opinions i'm open to hear those too. Thanks!

I know, symptoms aren't supposed to show up for a little while. That's why I was so curious. My body is pretty normal, and all this isn't, I guess i'll figure it out in a few days. But the more I think about the more I want it to happen. If i'm not pregnant I think i'll start trying.

I finally gave in and took a test. It was first response brand. Is that a good brand? Anyway, it's 3 days before af is supposed to come...And...I saw two lines. So it looks like i'm pregnant! Smile but i'm going to take a test this weekend if af hasn't come just to make sure. My insurance doesn't kick in for a month or two still (i just started my job a month ago, and that's where the insurance benefits are coming from), so i'll have to wait before going to the doctors...You're supposed to wait six weeks anyway...Right?

Yep, i'm pregnant! I'm five weeks and 1 day pregnant. I ended up taking 4 tests because i'm paranoid, but all 4 were positive and af never came. I'm excited. My insurance kicks in this month so i'm planning on calling for a doctor's appointment this week. Smile

Make sure you don't go to any othe docter until your insurance kicks in. My insurance wouldn't cover me if I had gotten checked by any other company before them. In fact some won't cover you at all if it happened before my insurance was available. Although, I don't know how it works. Congrats! That's really cool!
