Sorry to sound so dramatic in the subject but I really am at the end of my rope! I have had severe and paralyzing abdominal pain for about a year now. I have been to multiple gp's, gi specialists, hospitals, clinics, etc. X-rays, cat scans, mri's, hyda scans, blood work galore, ultrasounds, scoping. I also had my gallbladder removed; it was a bit of an exploratory surgery and they also ended up taking out my appendix.

It's not a pancreatic, liver or kidney disorder. My intestines are physically functioning fine, no obstruction of signs of crohn's or peritonitis. Thought about a malabsorption (lactose, etc) but I haven't ingested anything but white rice basically, tried lactaid, beano, etc with absolutely no help! Not ulcers, acid-reflux, ibs, anything w/ reproduction. Can't find any pattern as for activities, time of day, food, eating in general, not eating etc as to what is associated with the pain. Not stress-related --believe it or not, i'm really not *that* stressed out, or at least I wasn't when this all started.

I've been on protonix, zelnorm, fiber supplements, prevacid, and a million and one supposed pain relievers. Nothing will work for pain except for iv morphine or dilaudid Sad

my doctor says he doesn't know what to do. The gi specialists don't know what to do. I think i've looked at every page on the web ...Please help me. I absolutely cannot live with this pain. I can't go to school, hold down a job, or function like a normal human being when this hits me 3-4 days and lasts up to an hour Crying or Very sad

It's not reallly localized until it gets reall bad. It starts on the right side as as it progresses I can point to just off-center, to the right of my belly button, extending up to my last floating rib.

If Any-one Got Sick Accidentally
:o if any-one has got sick after accidentally drinking bad/mouldy apple juice, please tell about your experience and what your doing about it… harmful bacterium/pathogens/e-coli

:? I have been infected with three forms of harmful bacterium/pathogens/e-coli: enterobacter cloacae, citrobacter freund, proleus vulgaris.

They have been and are, no-fun...!

:?: * I am led to believe that these 3 harmful bacterium (above) are natural to the human intestines; I am uncertain of this fact. Would anyone have any main street medicine quote (s) to support that these harmful bacterium/pathogens are not natural to the human intestinal tract/body..?

:( my health problems all started (febuary/04) soon after accidentally drinking mouldy apple juice. 3 weeks later I lost 35 pounds, it become very painful to breath, my skin face-arms- torso & my legs turned (completely) a yellow/green color, mental fuzziness, a constant sweat musty odour to my breath accompanied by a persistent toxic cough, back of tongue hart a lot & it was swollen all the time – I would slur when talking, sever burning/stinging all through my intestinal tract, mostly constipation, food came out the same way it when in, my skin would just tare open at the slightest touch, urine turned very dark & had a scanty odour, no energy, and for the first year I slept about 13 hours a-day.

:) i’ve since gained my weight back (with great difficulty), but it can still fluctuate 5 to 10 lbs over a day or two. My symptoms are now not as bad, but still persist to be a daily problem… I think? I am getting better…

:?: if any-one else has had, or is having a similar experience after getting bad/mouldy apple juice, I would like to (if you don’t mind) know about your experience and what your doing about it…

 * if anyone is knowledgeable or has had any luck on how to kill these harmful bacterium/pathogens, it would totally be appreciated…

enterobacter cloacae, citrobacter freund, proleus vulgaris

thank you all: sincerely dave / david

Dehydration ?
Dehydration could be the culprit. It was with me and it sounds like you've tried everything else. Now I drink 1 pint of water (standard water bottle size) three times per day as if it were medicine. Has cleared up what was severe abdominal pain for me. Cheers.

SMAS
I've had very similar symptoms for past 3 months. All tests were coming back completely normal until I had a CT. It showed possible SMA Syndrome (Superior Mesenteric Artery). Did an upper GI series to confirm, and that also came back clean. Doc thinks it may be intermittent and I am scheduled for a Mesenteric Artery Duplex (ultrasound) tomorrow. Check out this link and see if it fits. Good luck!

severe epigastric and gut pain
Mine is the same only pain is worse after eating and at night...always better in the morning. Am on the strongest painkillers around. The other things that help take the edge off are probiotics and pure aloe vera juice taken with the painkillers and zero fat (not margarine or butter etc). It's really distressing when doctors treat you with contempt because they don't have an answer. My heart felt sympathies go to everyone posting on this.

Ab Pain
You guys arent going to believe this. I had the same thing for sixth moths straight, except I was throwing up nearly every day. Does anyone else have that issue? The 'abdominal' pain I was having was also severe and ended up being my ribs had actually compressed from all the throwing up. I went to a physical therapist who worked on spreading my ribs for weeks. It's a manual process and they also use electronic stimulation. It hurts like hell but was so worth it. I occassionally have flare ups, but nothig near what it used to be. Hang in there guys. I know what you're going through. All you need is one good doc to figure it out. I hope this helps...good luck.

Although the person who started this has yet to come back since 2004 and it's now 2012. I wake up every morning dreading what is to follow. I wake up and sit for a few minutes at my desk to boot up my computer and then must go have a bm. I am in constant pain, with no pain relievers what so ever, my doctor out right refuses to give me a damn thing for the pain. I am quite stressed out over all my health issues. Feeling like a gun right now would or could be my relief also, sadly. Now I go have a bm and then take my other medicines, which then now comes the violent sweats, pain, cramping, vomiting, and my colon is now having the worst possible cramps ever! Which seem to then lock the bowels up causing more pain and vomiting. This can last up tp 2 hours before the bowels settle down and can feel have way normal again. However now I am drained and still hurting. Think of food or eating is a joke now. I am over weight and have lost about 60 pounds in a year, still hurting after they told me to lose the weight and I would feel better. Wrong. I do hope the person found an answer for their issue!!! If anyone has any clues/hints/ideas for me???

SMA syndrome ruining my life
I know EXACTLY how you feel Sad I too have SMA syndrome, been dealing w it for over 4 years. Wasn't officially diagnosed w it til May 2010. I've had 2 surgeries since and live in CONSTANT pain, I am always drained bc I can't eat much at all and I'm on the strongest pain meds available that you can take, w/o being in the hospital... Im very depressed and feel hopeless... Like alot of you the doctors make things even worse by taking out their frustration on ME bc they don't know what to do... I also understand the "suicidal" thoughts, bc I feel that way often too... The only thing that keeps me from doing anything like that is bc I don't want to hurt my family...

Ive been dealing w similar symptoms for 7 yrs! I thought mine was endometriosis since I had an exploratory surgery done in 09 in which my dr found endo and a severe pid. I never got better after that surgery. I just had another one n there wasn't much new tissue growth but I did have a rather large cyst the dr popped for me. Every morning I have the hot sweaty crampy feeling, nausea and painful bm's. Think like severe food poisoning how ur stomach feels... My pain seems to get worse as the day goes on n more pressure is put on my abdomen. I get these attacks where I wld rather kill myself than go thru the pain, uncontrollable nausea and usually diarrhea simultaneously (literally) or constipation. The only things that calm my attacks are zolfram for nausea and dilaudid iv for pain usually 2-3 rounds. I've had numerous cats, ultrasounds (int and abd), lots of blood and urine samples and cultures, xrays, an upper gi, my appendix removed and the two laparoscopies. Although a month before this last surgery I had a internal ultrasound done and had multiple cysts on both ovaries, all but 1 had popped during the month waiting for surgery. It's just mind boggling, degrading, depressing, and frankly unfair for us! We probably don't jace the same conditions and abdominal issues are the hardest to diagnose, but we do get treated like we're making it up or something. Doctors can get so cruel. There should b a hotline for ppl like us to report drs like that bc after a particularly grueling battle, going to the emergency room to be told "there's nothing we can do for you" and treated like were wasting their time makes me want to shoot myself in the head too! How about wasting my life?! How about going from the strong, beautiful, powerful, sought after one to the one everyone pitied bc u can't keep a job or walk in an upright position and everyone can tell by the look on your face you're in misery?! Karma... I understand there are people who abuse drs for scripts! these people probably don't come to emergency rooms (bc they can't keep a job long enough to keep insurance either!) for 7 yrs looking the exact same each time and begging to be helped-aka referred to someone who can help if that dr can't, not just temporarily fixed up.... It's easier to buy illegal medication on the streets then it is to get care at an emergency room nowadays....
If any of u have found a resolution or any way to get help please let me kno! And good luck 2 u all! They say what doesn't kill u makes u stronger... I'm worried about what's comin up later if they want me 2 b this strong! Lol

CORRUPTION IN HEALTHCARE!!!
The problems is with doctors. I believe they could easily diagnose and treat many of the ailments people are suffering with but are instead using pain to milk as much money as possible from patients. I used to be a registered nurse and have some insight into the issue. I also am experiencing severe abdominal pain. The pain started after a shoulder injury flared up again following a shoulder surgery for a broken bone in my shoulder that was found after 15 years of complaining to doctors about severe. I was treated as a drug addict for 15 years with the intention of making me look bad.
After the shoulder was repaired and I was no longer running to the EM with the complaint of pain, a doctor said that I had several large fibroids in my stomach. I'd never had any complaint of pain related to fibroids, no excessive bleeding or anything. He told me I was eventually need a hysterectomy. However, after he did the laproscopic surgery to find out that I had these fibroids, my shoulder started hurting me again, this time it became worse than before and visits to the ER for pain returned. Then I started having pain in my right side, under the edge of my ribs. I've seen several doctors, before the pain became as intense as it is now, doctors would ignore my complain and now they tell me there is nothing wrong with my shoulder or my stomach. I cannot eat. The only way I can get any comfort is from drinking Magnesium Citrate.

I want there to be an Congressional investigation into what is CORRUPTION BY DOCTORS!!! If you're interested in joining me please email me
