I had an abortion about a month and two weeks ago. I still have not gotten a period. Is this normal?

This is probably normal. You were pregnant and your body emits a hormone when you are. Even after child birth it can take a while for this hormone to be out of you system so to speak. It might be 4 to 6 weeks before your body begins to ovulate again. Good luck

Normal. Takes a couple of months to get your period after an abortion.

hi...As far as I know that is normal...Your regular period cycle should start 4-8 weeks after the abortion...I just had an abortion about 3 weeks ago so the doctor informed me that it should take a while for the bleeding and discharge to go away and regular periods should start 4-8 weeks later. Hope everything works out.
