Q: Thanks

Hi everyone,

i just wanted to say thanks Smile to everyone on this forum for the advice and the shoulder to cry on. Before I met you guys I had never really talked to anyone else with lupus. It's nice to know that other people can relate to me.

Talking to everyone has made a difference to me in the last few weeks. I feel like I don't complain as much and I know there is a place I can go to vent.

Thank you guys,
jenn Cool

I know what you mean! I've not been with this site very long, and it feels like i'm already among friends! :d I never had anyone to talk to about lupus before, no one understood what was going on with me, but the first time I found this site and started reading the posts, I knew I had to join! Smile I had so much in common with the people here, and I felt like now i'm not alone! My husband asked me why I was on the computer so much now, and when I told him and showed him the site, he was like, good, maybe this will help you more than I can.

So here's to not being alone anymore!!! :d

thanks everyone,
kris

Thanks
I have been diagnose for 11 years and this is the first time that I have found people who understand and sympothize with the weird sypmtoms and conditions. Someone quoted the statistics of our disease verses other more well known diseases, and its shocking how uninformed the general public is consercerning lupus. I told someone today how bad I had been feeling lately, and they said I didn't look sick. The great imposter disease. We look so good, except for the rash, we just look like we got a little sun!

Thanks everyone for expressing your thoughts and feelings so freely, that others can feel comfortable joining in.
