Household violence...Abusive parents or even brothers and sisters....

Parents beating one another is basically what it is. Child abuse is somewhat of a different thing though they prolly all fall together. I'd go with the father beating the mother idea and possibly the poem from the kids point of view.

I wrote like two poems about a boyfriend who abused his girlfriend.

I wrote one poem about a man abusing his wife when I was 13 - and it's still my favorite. It's funny, though (not "haha" funny), because I have never been exposed to that sort of violence in my life. My dad would never lay a hand on my mother.

Well, I have had domestic violence in my reltionship. Jon, has never touched me but i'd hit him upside the head in a second. I gues it is all apart of my anger management problem. I guess it is a good thing he is so big, it doesn't hurt much.
