How can I get brooklyn to open her mouth wider? The lactation consultant taught me how to get her to latch on correctly without pinching my nipple, but now I just cant get her to open wide enough to get it in there correctly. Anyone got any tips on how to get her to open wide? Everything else with breastfeeding is going great, and she latched on right away real good after birth and she gets enough milk and everything, its just a matter of making it more comfortable for me (i got some blisters... Owwy!).

Quick note: my milk has already come in... Smile

Make her want it play with her a little babies have a reflex that if u rub ur finger or the side of ur breast on their cheek the will open their mouths and try to feed try that.

Hun, if you rub the side of her lips while inserting your nipple on her mouth, she should open her mouth wider. Hope this helps!
