I was on the pill for 5 years and about 3 months ago I got off the pill. My boyfriend and I are sexually active and while I was off the pill we had sex without a comdom; he did pull out though. So, since ive been off the pill I havent had my period(which its going on 3 1/2 months late) I have taken 5 at home pregnancy tests and they all have been negative. I have also been having this thick brown discharge and a little bit of spotting. Another thing that worries me is I have had some uti's that will come and go. I have a doc apt next week. Could someone please give me some helpful advice as to what they might think it could be!!! Please! Im going insane

Hey,

did you post on another part of the forums because I remember answering a question like this. My friend was on the pill for years as well and when her and her husband decided to start trying she got her first bleeding as your supposed to get after you stop the pill and she never got a period after that for a year. I was talking to her the other day mentioning this and apparently she also had brown discharge no blood though. I remember she had a ton of tests done...Blood work pap smears and ultrasounds and they all found nothing. I think it might just take a while for your body to adjust....But definatly ask your Dr. About it. I'm thinking your probably okay and not pregnant.
