you definitely need to talk to a doctor about this. I had somewhat of a similar experience... Let me recount...
I was on the pill for about 2 years and then went off... I had no period for three months. Though, I did not have a discharge like you're experiencing etc, I did have a couple of times during those 3 months where i'd get that 'funny' feeling and slight cramps, like I was going to start my period, yet never did. Then my face started to break out really bad, so I went to planned parenthood to get back on the pill. The doc there told me that my body was just in shock from going off the pill... And was trying to adjust... So everything was off kilter...
Finally, two weeks later... I had my period. Then afterward I started on the pill again.
Anyway, please talk to a professional about this issue. See what they have to say. More than likely your body is in shock and trying to figure out what to do without the use of the unnatural pills you've been taking for the past 5 years.... But check it out...

i was on the birth control shot depo and I didnt have my period for a year and then when I got off of it and then I had my period what your experiencing is that the birth control pill hasnt wore off yet when it does ware off then you should get your period I know cause I am 18 now if your ever get back on birth control go with depo provera that is a good thing to go with good luck
