I failed the long test too Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad so that means I definitely have gestational diabetes. I have go to go a class on it this friday and watch what I eat. No sugar and no simple carbs for the rest of the pregnancy. It also probably means tru will be big and may develop diabetes later in life. It almost definitely means I will have gestational diabetes with all subsequent pregnancies.

I'm sorry erin! I know you wanted better results! From what you said, it sounds like you will be able to control it with diet! So, its not the end of the world! Just remember what you are doing all this for...A healthy baby! Short term sacrifice for a long term gain!

Aww, im really sorry!!

I had to take the long test too..Twice because the first time I tried I threw the drink up after going back 2 times to get my blood drawn. But I didn't have it..After going through all that. I threw it up all over my car too because I was just getting ready to drive off.. Sad my mommy cleaned it for me while I layed down..But its like eating away at my car door. Nuts.

Thanks guys. Yeah, its just a diet. Hopefully the diet will be enough! Sometimes if the diet doesn't help you have to do insulin too Sad

Oh no sis i'm sorry to hear it Sad my cousin had that with her two pregnancies-she was kinda poorly in herself but her boys turned out fine. You've just gotta take extra good care of yourself. It's good that you're gonna be at home now instead of work so you can put your feet up

Erin, i'm sorry to hear that, but you are an extremely strong and smart person. You'll be able to care for yourself, and eat right, even if you do have to take insulin. It will all be worth it when tru is born!!! You're too excited to be a mom to not take care of yourself! It'll be okay sweetie!
