My sister whom is trying to concieve has a question for anyone this applies to and appreciates everyone that responds...

She just wanted to know has anyone had an std (chlamydia and/or gonorrhea to be specific), got it treated, and got pregant?

A few months ago she was exposed to both diseases and she got them cured and she just wanted to know if any of you had successful pregnancies after being cured?

Note:
i kno it may be embarrasing to reply but if any of you have been in this situation, please reply for my sister's sake. She's buggin' me...

Never had either, mike and I were both virgins when we got married, but if I remember correctly from sex ed, both diseases take a long time to have any effect on your reproductivity, so she's probably fine if she got them cured quickly.

I have never had them either

but I did talk to a girl on yahoo who did contract genital herpes from her boyfriend quite late into her pregnancy. I heard that it is never 100% cured you can have other outbreaks of it. Lauren22 is probably gonna say im wrong but thats wat I heard lol

anyway I also heard they are more likely to deliver the baby by c-section, keeping it away from the infected area

Suzi, I understand the same about any herpes.
Weather they are gential or the kind you get on your face (cold sores), you are never cured, they can crop up at any time, stress appears to make them worse.
Never let a guy with an open cold sore go down\./
