Yeah thats normal. They actually revised
the average, its not 98.6 anymore, its 99.

Well let me re-state that. 98.6 is still
average, but during the day it fluctuates,
and anywhere from 97.4-99.6 is normal, and
everyday activities like wearing too many
clothes or hot weather can make it go up
to 100.4 in children under 3 under normal
circumstances.

This is what we have in my child growth
and development book..
Age then temp. In farenheit.
0 - 3 month --- 99.4
3 - 6 month ---- 99.5
6 month - 1 year --- 99.7
1 - 3 year ---- 99.0
3 - 5 year ---- 98.6
5 - 9 year ----- 98.3
9 - 13 year ----- 98.0
> 13 year ----97.8 - 99.1

I worked in a pedi's office and really
pediatrics dont consider a fever until its
over 100.4 like erin said. I hope that

At school, if you go to the nurse cuz u
feel sick, if ur temp is 99.9 you have to
stay in school, but if its 100.0, you can
go home.
It's only one tenth of a degree!! Hehe
